Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Identity
Niagara Health needed a visual identity to represent its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The goal was to create a brand that visually embodies individuality, unity and intersectionality while aligning with Niagara Health’s existing corporate identity.
Over time, the logo’s impact grew beyond DEI programs and is now also featured in recruitment materials, reinforcing Niagara Health’s commitment to an inclusive and welcoming workplace.

DESIGN APPROACH:
The fingerprint represents individuality while reinforcing the idea that, despite our differences, we all share a common humanity.
A spectrum of colors symbolizes the diversity of people, perspectives and cultures within the organization.
The overlapping, see-through text elements convey intersectionality, showing how different identities and experiences overlap and influence each other.
OUTCOME: The final identity successfully captured the essence of diversity, inclusion and unity while maintaining brand alignment. The logo has become a recognizable symbol for Niagara Health’s DEI work.
